Alexander Camaro as both actor and creator of a series of experimental 8mm and 16mm films. The films playfully show all the facets of his varied forms of expression: poetry, painting and dance.
In a surreal masquerade Camaro suggestively approaches the mostly immobile camera. His method is to playfully perform into it and then to walk out of the frame. Camaro fixes his focus on one part of the stage in order to concentrate the spectator's gaze on his choreography. By playing with the film medium, and by interacting with his partners, the artists develop gestural aphorisms, which his editing merges into allegoric collages. Camaro leaves interpretation up to the viewer: searching for the past - anticipating the future.
